Why We Give
The Scriptures teach us that as followers of Jesus, our treasure is in heaven. Matthew wrote, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” At Trinity, our treasure is Jesus and our desire is to be on mission so that others can count Jesus as their treasure.
End of Year Giving Opportunity
This Sabbath Year has been a time to slow down, let the ground rest, and give God space to do a deeper work in us—and He has. Even as we’ve paused from our usual pace, we’ve seen beautiful fruit: our largest baptism Sunday yet, lives being renewed, and hearts turning toward Christ in surprising ways.
Because we intentionally stepped back from our usual generosity rhythms this year, as of November 10th we were $94,962 short of our 2025 ministry budget—about $49,642 behind where we were at this point last year. Would you consider making a year-end gift to help us close this gap? Your generosity will help us step into the next season with strength—fully staffed, resourced for ministry, and ready for all that God is preparing.
