What to Expect

  • A LITTLE ABOUT US

Worship at Trinity Anglican Church combines down-to-earth informality with the grace and beauty of Christian traditions that date back thousands of years. The service is led by our pastors and many other leaders—both women and men—actively taking part in proclaiming Scriptures and leading prayers.

Anglicans view worship as “a work of the people,” so the service is highly participatory. A detailed bulletin is provided so that everyone may join in worship as much or as little as she or he is comfortable.

  • IN PERSON GATHERINGS

We meet for worship every Sunday at 9:30AM at 1142 W Madison St., #303.

  • CHILDREN'S WORSHIP

Children’s worship is available for children ten and under during our Sunday morning gathering. Check-in starts at 9:15 AM before the 9:30 AM service and pick up is during the passing of the Peace (shortly after the sermon).

We are committed to do all we can to protect the safety of our children. For Sunday children’s worship we have multiple volunteers in a room at a time, children’s volunteers have received child protection training, been at the church for longer than 6 months, completed an interview with a pastor, and have completed a background check.

We hope you will join us! Fill out this connection form to tell us a little about yourself and begin to get connected with the Trinity community.

Music

Part of our worship each Sunday includes musical worship. Scripture repeatedly invites us to “sing new songs” to the Lord. We see music as a way to express our thanks to God for all he has done.

Readings

In the Anglican liturgy there are four weekly prescribed readings from the Bible. One from both the Old and New Testament, a Psalm (which is read together as a congregation), as well as a reading from one of the four Gospels.

For thousands of years the church was exposed to God’s Word principally through the spoken voice.  We embrace the richness found in the hearing of God’s word and hope that through the reading and listening of Scripture each Sunday the Lord will transform our hearts and minds to be more aligned with His.

Communion

We partake in a communion meal each week. Jesus commanded this sacrament for the continued remembrance of the sacrifice of his atoning death, and so that we may receive strengthening and refreshing of our souls by the body and blood of Christ, and of the love and unity we share with other believers.
